BAPTISM: baptisms should take place as soon as possible, preferably within weeks of the birth. The course of instruction for those wishing to have their child baptised takes place on Sundays at 11.30 am in the Bulbeck Room. To register please contact the parish office.

THE FAMILY OF TONY MULLIN would like to say a heartfelt thank-you to all those who donated to the Medical Missionaries of Mary (who are based in parish) in lieu of flowers. This was as he wished and has raised £4,209. The money will be going to Sr. Helen who is doing great work for the sick in her parish in Tanzania. Many thanks.

Sister TERESITA is recovering in hospital after major surgery and would like to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

BLESSING OF THE CRIB. This is the last year Rosanna Elliott and family will be organising this wonderful Christmas Eve event.  If anybody is interested in shadowing Rosanna this year with a view to taking over in 2018, please phone the parish office asap. EALING ABBEY CHRISTMAS ORCHESTRA NEEDS YOU Any ability and any instruments welcome to play Carols at the blessing of The Crib at 3pm on Christmas Eve & 9am Mass on Christmas Day. EDUCARE: You can register to access Free online EDUCARE Safeguarding Training by emailing safegurardingadmin@rcdow.org.uk with your name, parish, role eg parent, catechist or parishioner. Once registered you will have instant access to all seven modules of the E-Learning programme and print out your own Certificates of Completion.

EALING CHURCHES’ WINTER NIGHT SHELTER will be hosted by the abbey parish on six Friday evenings from 5 Jan to 9 Feb. If you would like to help training will be given and you will need to register with ecwns.org.uk .Please also email Deacon Gordon with your contact details at gordon.nunn@virgin.net. Training sessions will be 12 noon, Sun 17 Dec & 12 noon Sun 31st December, all in the parish hall.

FLOWERS: if you would like flowers placed in the church at Christmas, in thanksgiving or in memory of a loved one, contact the parish office. By tradition flowers are not placed in the church during Advent.
