BAPTISM:  baptisms should take place as soon as possible, preferably within weeks of the birth. The course of instruction for those wishing to have their child baptised takes place on Sundays at 10.30am in the Bulbeck Room. To register please contact the parish office.

FAIRTRADE FORNIGHT: we are moving towards becoming a fully Fairtrade parish. The fortnight runs from this Sunday 26th February to 11th March. Please keep Fairtrade in mind when doing your shopping. Thank you.

GOD LOVES YOU AS YOU ARE: A series of talks on Mondays and Thursday evenings at 8pm in the Maurice Fowler Hall, on how the infinite love of God for each of us, as we are, can change our lives. Invitations are available in the porches.

CHRISTIAN MINDFULNESS: Fr. Michael Heap is leading two sessions for Lent on Christian prayer and spirituality with a practical introduction to the Jesus Prayer, Lectio Divina, Ignatian Meditation and Centring Prayer: 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday 7th and 14th March in the parish hall of Our Lady of Lourdes in Acton. All welcome: tea and coffee available

EALING CHORAL SOCIETY is performing Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with orchestra and soloists on Sunday 18th March, 7 pm at the Cadogan Hall, Sloane Terrace, SW1. Tickets @ £24, £17 and £10 are available from 020 7730 4500. This promises to be a memoriable event – one of Beethoven’s greatest works.

BOOK CIRCLE meets on Wed 21 March at 8.15pm in the Coffee Lounge to discuss The Hired Man by Aminatta Forna.  All are welcome.
