THE ABBOT & MONASTIC COMMUNITY WILL BE ON RETREAT  STARTING ON MONDAY EVENING 19 AUGUST WITH COMPLINE, ENDING WITH CONVENTIONAL MASS AND RENEWAL OF VOWS, AT 9.15am ON SATURDAY 24 AUGUST

BAPTISM:  baptisms should take place as soon as possible, preferably within weeks of the birth. Those wishing to have their child baptised, please contact the parish office to register for the course of instruction.

TAIZÉ GROUP has now finished for summer holidays and will resume on Monday 9th September, in the Newman Chapel.  The Group meet on the second Monday of each month, at 8.30 pm, for one hour of simple meditation & singing in various languages, in the footsteps of Brother Roger’s inspiration for an ecumenical “Pilgrimage of Trust” All are welcome.

DIOCESAN MASS FOR ALTAR SERVERS in Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 5 October at 2.30pm. Principal Celebrant Bishop Paul McAleenan.  Servers should bring their vestments to the Cathedral Hall, Ambrosden Ave, (entrance by the rear door) and be ready to process into the Cathedral by 2pm. Concelebrating priests are requested to bring an Alb and vest in the Sacristy. Chasubles will be provided.

FLOWERS: the flowers in the church, by the statue of Our Lady, are in memory of Anthony Terrence Bernard. Please remember him in your prayers. To arrange for flowers by in memory of loved ones or in thanksgiving, please contact the parish office.
