BAPTISM:  baptisms should take place as soon as possible, preferably within weeks of the birth. Those wishing to have their child baptised, please contact the parish office to register for the course of instruction.

‘A BIG THANK YOU’ to all who donated through the Plant Swap Sale on 1 September, £283.03 was raised on the day for CAFOD.

NEW ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED: Would your daughter or son like to become an Altar Server? New Altar Servers needed for the 6pm Saturday Mass.  An Altar Server training session for new Servers or those wanting to refresh will be held in the Abbey Church on Sat, 5 Oct, 10.30-11.30am.  Parents will need to accompany their child. Contact the parish office to register for training and to register to become an Altar Server.

ANCHOR CHILDREN SESSIONS begin on Tuesday 17 September.  Anchor is for children in years 3-6.  It is a place to grow in relationship with God and friends. Come along to the Coffee Shop on Tuesday, 4-5pm for more information.

BIBLE STUDY – Exciting new Bible Study uncovering a story woven through the whole Bible. You will learn how to hear God’s voice speaking to you in everyday life.

Come to the parish hall on Tues 17 Sept at 7.30pm, for an informal introductory session.

MEMORIAL MASS for Fr. Tom Quinn at Sts Peter & Paul’s Church Northfields Friday, 20 Sept at 7.30pm followed by refreshments in the parish hall. All are welcome.

EALING NEWMAN CIRCLE –The first talk in this season’s series, with the theme of Communicating Belief in Today’s Society, will be given by Jean Harrison, a specialist in the teaching of religious education. She will outline the principles and ideas involved in successfully communicating belief, based on her thirty years of experience as an educationalist.” Thursday 26th September 8pm, in the Bulbeck Room. Everyone welcome, free admission with optional retiring collection.

BAPTISED AND SENT – Autumn Faith-Sharing Season, Prepared by Fr. Philip Knights, in response to the Holy Father’s invitation to keep October 2019 as an Extraordinary Month of Missions. In this month we are called to honour the 100th Anniversary of the Apostolic Letter Maximum Illud. ‘Baptised and Sent’ seeks to deepen our understanding of mission and to widen our horizons.
