DATA PROTECTION

You may be aware of the new

General Data Protection Regulation

that comes into effect this month (June 2018).  In the past, the parish has carried out a census, gathering a register of information about current and former parishioners.  The information we hold includes name, address, family members, religious affiliation, marital status.  This information helps the parish in its work in the community, to provide a better service to its parishioners and to realise its objectives.  The information is held securely on a database that is password protected and

is not shared with third parties.

Access to the information is restricted to the parish priest and lay employees authorised by him.

The parish plans to undertake the next census in 2019.  In the meantime should you have any concerns regarding the information held or wish to have your information removed, please contact the parish office on 020 8862 2160
